About Drydel
Drydel is a Greater Toronto Area general contractor and specialty subcontractor. For ten years we've built, renovated and repaired commercial, industrial and government properties — on time, on spec, and on budget. Most of our work comes from clients who have hired us before.
Drydel started a decade ago doing tenant improvements in downtown Toronto towers. Most of our early work came through property managers — CBRE, then BGIS, then Brookfield — who needed a contractor who could work after hours, finish on time, and not leave the building manager with a list of complaints from neighbouring tenants. That is still the work we are known for.
Over time the practice grew. Government projects through MERX and Bonfire. Industrial work in Mississauga and Vaughan. Heritage restoration in older downtown buildings. A steady stream of facility-services tickets that keeps our small-works crew busy. We added concrete and masonry capacity because clients kept asking, and civil work because nearly every commercial renovation in the GTA seems to involve an accessibility ramp or a parking-lot repair.
We focus on commercial, industrial and government work, and we take on the occasional residential project — usually for a client we have already worked with. We bid as the general contractor when you need someone to run the whole project, and as a specialty subcontractor when you need a trade partner for restoration, concrete & masonry, or civil work. Same crew either way.
Most of our work happens within a 90-minute drive of our Concord office — Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Pickering, Ajax. The downtown core, the suburban office parks, the industrial belts, and the institutional campuses.
These days we work across the province. Northern Ontario projects are a regular part of our book — including an active OPP detachment job in Schreiber — alongside work east into Kingston, north into Muskoka, and west into the Niagara region. The GTA is still our base and where our same-day responsiveness is sharpest, but our crews travel for the right project anywhere in Ontario.
