What we do

Public-sector construction, with the procurement boxes ticked.

Public-sector work is construction wrapped in a procurement layer. Before you can pour a slab on a federal project, you need WSIB clearance current, $5M+ commercial general liability, an Ontario performance bond, a labour-and-material payment bond, contractor security clearance for some sites, AODA-trained crew, audited financials and a vendor profile that's been pre-qualified through MERX, Bonfire or BGIS Marketplace. We carry all of that. It's not optional and it's the first filter on most public RFPs.

On site, public projects come with their own discipline. Federal heritage buildings have Section 41 OHA constraints. Provincial offices have Ministry of Labour reporting protocols. Health authority work has infection-control protocols (ICRA matrix) that are non-negotiable. School boards have CRC-cleared-only-on-site rules during operating hours. We've done all of it.

How we work

From RFP to occupancy.

Public procurement, executed as construction.

STEP / 01
Pre-qualification
Vendor profile, audited financials, insurance and bonding stack, security clearances, pre-qualified through MERX / Bonfire / BGIS Marketplace. Maintained current — not produced after the RFP drops.
STEP / 02
Bid & award
Compliant bid response, schedule and methodology aligned to the procurement document, commercial terms accepted as written. Reference letters from prior public projects ready.
STEP / 03
Build
Site discipline appropriate to the institution — ICRA for healthcare, OPS protocols for provincial, CRC clearance for schools, heritage protocols for designated buildings. Daily reporting per contract. Standard CCDC inspection and progress draw cadence.
STEP / 04
Close-out & audit
Substantial completion certified, deficiencies cleared, lien holdback held per Ontario Construction Act. Audit-ready documentation: signed CCDC forms, lien waivers, inspections, as-builts, warranties. Project closed when the auditor agrees, not before.
